I own the regular edition of monopoly, but it's very old, it came out before they started making the moneybag piece. I was thinking about getting the here and now version of monopoly. This question is more for people who own the here and now version: Is the here and now version of monoply a waste of money, or is it worth buying?

the worst thing about it is the money. They wanted to add money, so they added 5 zeros to everything ... if they added 6 zeros it would have been less confusing
so baltic ave (not called baltic btw) cost 600,000 and boardwalk cost 4 mil
They also changed the names of all the properties, but i can live with that

If you're a collector that strives to keep timeless boardgames and possibly sell them later, than I think it is not a waste of money. But if you're not an antique collector, it's a waste of money because all you're paying for is a new look, which doesn't really affect game play.

I have shockwave unlimited and got it for free but belive me its not fun. You are better of going to the store and buy monopoly because this is one is A WASTE OF TIME.

I got it for my birthday and do quite enjoy it! Much easier to play with younger kids and no money to go flying. Its a lot harder to cheat with though!! (not that i ever did contrary to what my husband always says!)
