Riku was my favorite. I fell in love with him in the first game, he's intelligent and deep and was the orginal keyblade master, but since he turned to darkness he lost his status and it was transferred to Sora.
He spends the entire first game trying to save his love and friend, Kairi. Even to the point where he gives himself to darkness and loses his body. In the second game we see him helping Sora, Donald, Goofy and the others through the inside having lost his body but not his heart. He's loyal to his friends.

Mine is also sora for the following reasons.
1- He is just plan awsome
2-He kicks some heartless/nobodies butt
3-He is unstoppable
4-He has a keyblade (first person to get on) unlike the others 50 people who got them
5-Lastly he's the main character... Whats not to like.

I loved Kingdom Hearts. My favorite character was Roxas because he was the first to duel wield on the game, hehe. I can't wait for the 3rd KH to come out, I'm growing so impatient.

Samus from Metroid. She's a bad-***. After that, probably Link from Zelda, and then Kratos from God of War.
