I am 5'10'' and curvy. Whenever I buy pants because I am tall I have to buy longs. But because I have a small waist they always are really big around my waist and tight everywhere else. Any ideas on where I can get pants that fit in the length, arent too tight and arent too big around the waist?

I saw this on Oprah
rule #1...you will try 16 pairs of jeans for every one pair that fit
rule#2...have your clothes tailored ...better to have one GREAT pair of jeans than a closet full of rejects
and then also if this helps the gap has long and lean jeans ...oprahs favorite and I like the boy cut...I think they are called your boyfriends jeans and if you have a good gap go during the weekday when they have more serious workers they will usually know whats hot and whats not and tell what looks good...if you get a Gap card you get 10% off on Tusdays for using it and that should help with the Tailors fees! goodluck!

Try the Express. Some of their pants come in sizes 0-10 long.

I'm 5'10" and have the same problem. I wear L.E.I. low rise and Glow jeans as well you can get them at Kohl's. If your really curvy go with Glow.

you will have to try on a few different brands....
everyone's bodies are different...
stay with a good brand...
well made trousers are cut to fall well & fit well.
you might have to get the waist altered just to fit better.
also try different sizes..each manufacturer cuts differently.

get some Frankie B. jeans. they're in the $100-$400 dollar range, but they are worth it.
