Can Sata2 Harddisk use in old computers , using OS WinME... The com. detect the USBdisk but no drives ???

Can anyone let me know the ans, to my question ????

if it's an external hardrive you shoudn't have any problems ,even windows 98SE support them , but you have to load the driver disc into your computer , the disc came with your external hardrive , .

it depends on the motherboard. I recommend an ASUS motherboard if you're planning to get a new one. The old motherboards are not compatible with Sata2 Harddisk
