Top 5 (Official) - This is the official top 5 from Amusement Today

1.) Superman: Ride of Steel (Six Flags New England)
2.) Millennium Force (Cedar Point)
3.) Magnum XL-200 (Cedar Point)
4.) Nitro (Six Flags Great Adventure)
5.) Apollo's Chariot (Busch Gardens Europe)

Top 5 (Personal)
1.) Millennium Force (Cedar Point) - tie
1.) Kingda Ka (Six Flags Great Adventure) - tie
2.) Top Thrill Dragster (Cedar Point)
3.) Medusa (Six Flags Great Adventure) - tie
3.) Montu (Busch Gardens Africa) - tie
4.) Goliath (Six Flags Over Georiga)
5.) Nitro (Six Flags Great Adventure)

My #1 coasters are considered the best by me because Millennium Force incorporates a variety of thrill elements such as a 300 foot 80 degree drop as well as various high speed turns and airtime hills. Kingda Ka is also tied for #1 because of its thrilling 128 mph launch and massive 456 foot tower along with its large airtime hill after the 456 foot vertical drop.

1. The Voyage at Holiday World
2. The Legend at Holiday World
3. The Boss at Six Flags St. Louis
4. The Raven at Holiday World
5. The Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood

I like wood better than steel!

The Voyage is #1 because you get so much airtime (your butt is out of the chair like 90% of the time), it is smooth as a baby's bottom, has relentless speed (even at the end), it's at the best theme park in the world!, and last but not least, it turns you 90-degree's 3 times!! whoot whoot

If you haven't rode it you must go to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN and experience it for yourself!

5. Batman & Robin -Six Flags Great Adventure

4. Talon - Dorney Park

3. Apollo's Chariot - Busch Gardens, VA

2. Medusa- Great Adventure

1. Cyclone - Astroland

I put the Cyclone at Coney Island as number one because aside from the normal excitement you get from rollercoasters, this one adds a sort of wild, genuine fear because the thing is so ancient, you feel like its going to rattle apart and collapse beneathe you....the ultimate thrill ride!

1.Alpengiest- Busch Gardens VA
2.Apollo's Chariat-Busch Gardens VA
3. Thunder Head-Dolly Wood TN
4.Storm Runner-Hershey Park PA
5.Lightning Racer-Herchey Park PA

Although any rollercoaster is a good rollercoaster to me, but i would have to say Alpengiest is my favorite because it takes you through part of the park and it's really good sight seeing. Yet it is very intense. Fast speeds, 3 loops, 2 corkscrews and 10 drops with only one chain! Amazing! Truely my fav.

1)Apollos Chariot-Busch Gardens
2)Lochness Monster-BG
3)Alpengiest-BG
4)Make your own virtual coaster(Disney Quest)
5)Maelstrom-Epcot

Apollo's Chariot is pretty good.Lochness was one of the first roller-coasters I rode its great for first-time riders.Alpengiest is not for people who like a lot of twists and turns.Make your own virtual coaster at Quest is awesome you get to built it and if its to intense you can get out at anytime.Maelstrom is very calm and not much of a coaster just a ride.

Superman - Darien Lake
Drop Zone - Canada's Wonderland
Top Gun - Canada's Wonderland
The Bat - Canada's Wonderland
Mighty Canadian Minebuster - Canada's Wonderland (Got to always love the old wooden rides!)

Superman is my favourite ride because it's the tallest rollar coaster, and it's absolutely wonderful. (I put the Superman link underneath, so, maybe check it out!)
Enjoy!
