best way to get yahoo updated protection is yahoo tool bar . it comes with latest yahoo anti- virus and anti-spyware.
i recommend you this because yahoo tool bar gets updated everytime your open your browser.
but the same thing doesnt happen with your installed pc.
plus if you want free anti-virus or anti-spyware . go to freeware.com you will get everything there. i recommend not to download from yahoo because they dont update the threat now and then as the standard companies do.!

I don't really recommend it. i tried to unistall it and it erased the whole operating system!!!!!!!!
The best sollution in security apps is avg anti virus and anti spy.
Fast, easy, reliable!
