Yes..it is a good idea to do this so as to not have any conflicts...hopefully you have the drivers for your old card on cd just in case the new video card for some reason doesn't work...you could always reinstall it...or better...if that happens go to the manufacturers web site and download the newest drivers just in case you have to reinstall...after you delete your old drivers, as well as your old video card in device manager...turn off the puter and install the new one, and restart to install the new one!

No you dont need to do that....Just reinstall the new drivers once installed...Ive changed mine many times...and always just install new drivers either BEFORE hardware installation or AFTER depending on the video cards instructions......that could be very impoirtant in which order you do it so make sure you read that in instructions.... best of luck hope you got a GE FORCE! :P

Depends on if you are changing the card to something totally different, or just upgrading the card.
Example: From Nvidia to ATi Catalyst. In this case Yes, you have too.
But if you are just upgrading your card and it's the same manufacturer then it should be alright...even still you should check to see if you have the latest drivers.

no. you shouldn't have to. If your running an older version of windows such as 98 or 2000, you might want to turn your screen resolution down to standard vga-800x600, 256 colors, before you turn the computer off and remove the card. XP or Vista, don't worry about it.
