World of Warcraft?

I have recently purchased and subscribed to the game, and i do not know what to do first or where to go. So basically i am a complete noob at this game and any help would be appreciated .

Okay! When you start, you are level one. There will be a guy with a yellowish orange exclamation mark on his head. This means he has a 'quest' for you to do. A quest will give you experience. Which makes you a higher level, which gives you new abilites. So, right click on the guy. He will 'talk' to you. A scroll will appear and it will tell a little background on what the quest is. Then at the bottom, it gives a short version, only including the objectives, and your quest reward. ((They all give XP, so it won't say XP)) Follow the instructions. Then, go back to him. (If you can't find him, he'll be a yellow dot on your minimap. UNLESS, it goes to another person, THEN it will be that person on your minimap.

You can also 'farm' creatures. MEANING kill them for XP and items/gold.

That is just for starters. I don't really have much time to give you the WHOLE GAME in a nutshell. Email me if you have any other specific questions.

Scroll down until you see the links for "starting". You will find step by step instructions as well as overviews for virtually everything you can / should / might do.

Allakhazam is a great resource for quest "how to" as well. Simply type the quest name into their search field and you'll get all kinds of feedback from people who have done the quest. The same thing is true at the Thottbot site (www.thottbot.com).

WoW can be daunting because it's pretty unstructured and there are a zillion options. Also you have to make choices about race, class, gear, professions etc. The websites mentioned above will be your best friend (unless you are a hunter, then that will be your pet ;)
