I have a dish DVR and I want to record a movie on to a VCR tape. Is this possible? If so, How.

Hi Brady,

Plug the Red White Yellow cable from the DVR into the input on the back of the VHS. Hook a Red White Yellow from the Output on the back of your VHS to the Input on the back of your TV.

Now you can record and monitor what you are recording on your TV.

When you turn off the VCR you will still get the DVR picture on your TV.

I am not a hundred percent sure how Dish works, but with TiVo, you have an option on the screen to copy to tape. some more advanced DVR systems will allow you to send it to your home pc, or email. check your owners manual, it should tell you, also you can call Dish Cus care.
