depends on experience. if u do not have past teaching experience, u could earn 2000-3000 LE/mo. it also depends on the school's standards. I got an offer to work at a very good American school that holds high standards in Egypt and they offered me 4,000 LE starting salary and I had no previous teaching experience (I'm an American citizen by birth&Egyptian by origin& have my degree from USA). So pretty much, u will have very good opportunities here. Being an American citizen in Egypt alone by itself is a plus. Keep in mind not to compare Egyptian pounds to American dollars. By value, not exchange rate, if u earn 3000 LE in Egypt it's like earning $3000 in USA. do not hesitate to contact me if u need further information

Depends on the contract. If the school "imports" from abroad or hires locally. If you are hired from the USA then you get an American salary which in Egypt turns out to be a small fortune. You get to save up a lot of bread. I have friends that are currently doing that.

If it's a really nice American school in Egypt then I think it would be about 5000-6000 L.E. a month, or 900-1000 American Dollars a month.
