Dear Student:

First wish you all the luck for your exams, I pray and hope that you do well in your exams.

At this stage in your choice there are too many options to choose from

Before you say "yes" or even "no" to some options in your life:

1. Ask yourself the following: Over the years in school and at home - what made you the most happiest person / jumping with joy to do:
-Did you feel thrilled when you solved a Math problem?
-Did you do well in sports? and when u ran a race or scored a goal, you felt like a winner?
-Have you gazed up the skies and the stars and wanted to explore and fly high?
-Have you found too much joy in making friends / talking to people? Do your friends like you because you are supportive to them?
-Do you like writing?
-Do you like tinkering with your cycle / TV /radio?
-Do you pretend you are the next Amitabh or SRK?
-Do you feel a great passion to climb the mountains of Himalayas and roll in the snow and be free?
-Do you feel very nice when you comfort a sick person? Do you have a natural inclination for caring for others?
-Do you feel you have a responsibility to the poor and sick and the downtrodden? Do you have a compulsion to help them?
-Do you feel like standing up in a crowd and arguing for the needy?
-Do you have so many ideas in your mind that you want to start a 1000 businesses and know that they will be successful?

OR

-Do you just want to relax for the next year and think about what you want to do?

Make a LIST.
I always made a list of things I wanted to do when i was young
And sometimes I will look at the list and cross some and added some more. It was fun and it helped me a lot

So now when you make a list: You will see some of the items are:
-Your dreams
-Some your hobbies
-Some makes you feel scared , because you think you cant do it
-Some make you so happy, because you are just too good at them

Now there is an idea in your mind. Next to each and every item make a note when you want to do them.
-Some can be marked "when I am 30"
-Some can be marked "when I start earning"
-Some can be marked "right now"
-Some can be marked "oh never"

Now that you have your list, find out how you can acheive them

-Is writing your passion? Take literature and then journalism and more courses in that line
-Is curing people your passion? But you dont want to be an MBBS .. try other options. You can be a speeh pathologist / you can be a nurse / you can be a Chiropractor
-Is sports your choice? Get admitted to colleges that encourage sports
-Is studying Indian culture your passion? Enrol in History, Geography.... become an Archeologist
-Is starting businesses your dream? Then planning for an MBA is good.. Find out what you need to study to get an MBA admission
-Do you want to study Law?
-Do you want to be an astronomer?
-Do you want to be the first Indian scientist who can invent cure for Malaria / or invent methods to prevent flooding?

Then: Look for scholarships.
-So many associations and even the Govt offers scholarship.
-If you dont get scholarships, see if you can find any part time employement in and around your neighbourhood.

Never give up on what you want to do.. Ask more question... ask and find.
An inquisitive mind wins. And FOCUS on what you need to do..Never lose FOCUS.. and HOPE

All the best
