go get a check up, especially if the lateness persists... i had the same thing happen... the doctor will most likely put you on the pill for regular periods.

If you are training for a marathon or a triathlon or a major event the extra physical activity will stop your period temporarily. Also if you are on an extreme weight loss diet it may stop it.You didn't say how old you are. But if you are in your child bearing years and it stops for any reason call the local Planned Parenthood branch in your town. It's not just for pregnancy.

how old are you? this could have something to do with it.
for some young women your period as you called it,is not always regular until you get older.
are you having sex?
get a pregnancy test if so.. some women still have a period even why there pregnant for several months.

i think this happens to many ladies a number of times the cause might be emotional disturbance,sickness can also cause this and alot of worries or pain can also the normal cycle of periods.
