It sounds like the ECM needs to be re-set or re-programmed. Is there a check engine light on?

Use NGK plugs. At night, spray a little water on the wires and see if they spark while running the engine. If they do, you need new wires.

make sure you are using the proper grade of gasoline, make sure all spark plugs are tightened down and that the coil packs are secured, make sure all couplers (turbo to intercooler and intercooler to throttle body) are secure, make sure the air return hose on you bypass valve is secure and that your bypass valve is tightened down on the intercooler, if you have done any power mods to it, you must be tuned for them in order for the ecu to recognize the changes. if you have a blow-off valve instead of the stock bypass valve, get rid of it. they are garbage for our cars. if none of that works, start a new question with more details about the problem (ie- only when cold, does it all the time, does it between shifts, etc).

Make sure you don't have a break/crack in the spark plug wires.
