I have seen the read the same thing, and hope that it is true because I go in for mine in 6 weeks. I read that if you had it done for reasons associated with pain which mine is, then yes sex does get better because you have no pain.

I think everything regarding sex is very personal i.e. every woman reacts differently. A woman who had a good sex life with orgasms, will have them again. Some women complain the orgasms are not that strong anymore, again this is a totally personal feeling and what one woman feels the other does not. If sex was poor before the hysterectomy than the hysterectomy won't change a thing, sorry to say. There might be problems of dryness in the vagina and you'll need more lubrication again it's not a sure thing, it might happen. Some women experience other symptoms, no use writing them all down. But whatever you feel or experience, its always a good idea to discuss it with other women or experts who might have solutions.

I had a complete hysterectomy by the time I was 31. The doctors told me you will not have any orgasms any more. WRONG!!!!! You don't have to worry about getting pregnant. It is all great. Don't worry.

I don't know about the feeling of sex getting better but its probably more exciting because you can do it whenever you feel like it with no fear of getting pregnant.

Probably gets better because you won't be afraid of having children anymore accidentally.
