Yes you can bring baby goldfish in doors. Just make sure you do it in stages i.e. fill container with water from the pond adding some pond weed, transfer the fish into the container and bring it near to the house. After a couple of days, bring it indoors but don't put it too near a radiator or in direct sunlight. Feed the fish a little every other day for a week then every day thereafter. The fish will eventually turn gold (orange) when they are mature.

Baby Goldfish In Pond

You could do it but I don't think that you Should! If you must then fill the tank with some of the pond water. Goldfish should only be kept in Ponds or very large tanks and never in large numbers. For their size they produce a lot of waste and require frequent small water changes and a good filtration system! Don't fall for the old myth that they grow to the size of the tank! They only slow the speed of growth to virtually nothing but internal organs will keep growing and become diseased or unable to function. (It's why most goldfish unexpectedly die with no outward signs of illness) The babies will change colour unless the parents are black too!

Yeah. Ofcoarce you can. If you want to take out only baby goldfish. Those fishes are just babies, so they have not been in the pond for a lot of time. Therefore they have not completely adapted to the pond.
If those fishes were adults, then i wouldn't suggest that, because the amount of algae and bacteria would be different in the pond and in the tank.

Yes you can move them to an indoor tank. I used to bring all of my pond fish inside for the winter, Don't do that anymore! Just bag them with pond water and float them as you would if they came from the store.

There is a chance they will and yes they can change colors. This depends on a few things. Lighting, food, lineage and water quality. I had chocolates that turned all white.

I would say thats a proably not. Your fish are used to the algea in your pond and they would probably die if you moved them to a tank. If you really feel you must though, put pond water in the tank before you move any of the goldfish, it will help them adjust. This could be problematic if you have all ready got other fish in the tank because changing the amount of algea in thier water could kill them too. The best thing to do is to leave them where they are.

Sure, just remember 10 gallons per three inches of goldfish. They will change color anyway. Most goldfish are born black or silver and change after a few months. Its a way of preventing predators from seeing the fish in the water. A large majority of black goldfish change within a matter of months.
