Since they're litterally right up your butt, isn't there also a hygiene issue?

I don't wear them...I used to, but then I figured out that going commando was WAY more comfortable.

No thongs are the most comfortable underware there is. I'm a guy and i wear more thongs then anything else and no hygiene isn't a problem if you wipe good

Things is that they are not literally up your butt. They rest on the tailbone and then just outside your crack so there really is no hygiene issue. I love them they are the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. You wouldn't completely understand unless you tried them. Then again they are not for everyone.

Not from personal experience, but I've asked some of my lady friends...
Apparently, no, its not uncomfortable. Hygiene issue? Nah, as long as one's crack is clean then all is good, eh?
...and on a side note, thongs are hot....

It took me about six hours to get used to it, but after that initial uncomfort it goes away and you don't notice it at all (this isnt 6 hours every day, its the irst time) Also, hopefully you change your underwear everyday, so hydene isn't really an issue as long as you wash them.

you can get some really nice thongs these days ..........in the beginning it was weird to wear them.like wedgie it felt . But you get used to that ,and after while you don't feel it nymore that you are wearing a thong. I like them ,looks sexy. And when you wipe ,just use wet wipes and all is clean a nd there will be no issue .

Yeah it is to me.
Also it's right up my butt being a hygiene issue is another reason I only wear panties.
Panties are comfy and they protect your butt cheeks.

Quite comfortable. Might feel a bit strange the first time you try them, but after that, you won't ever go back to regular underwear.

Yes,very uncomfortable...that is why I only wear brief panties!And there is a hygeine problem with thongs also!

I don't wear them for a number of reasons, being uncomfortable is one of them. Very unflattering underwear in my opinion.
