I'm a sagittarius and while I've noticed we can be rather mean when we need to be, I wouldn't say we're all a bunch of evil-doing, conniving, drama queens.

Most of us are very sensitive pussycats truthfully. In fact we are known to be one of the most loyal signs.

If you ask any half-intelligent person, sounds like this person shouldn't really be considered a friend at all. If someone is really taking your friendship for granted, drop them like a bad habit honey, there are way too many good people out there to hang with! I'd let her know how you feel about how she behaves and then give her the opportunity to make a positive change about it and if she doesn't I'd be like "lose my number!"

Well one of my good friends is a sagittarius...and I am also a libra and I've been hurt in the past. I know that sometimes they're just brutally honest but I do feel like they should take care of the way they say things...sometimes they can make you feel super small. She's very nice and respectful but sometimes she's mean or says mean things. I'm not the only one who noticed because people have told me that, I think that in a way they are intimidating. I was willing to listen to her stories and sometimes I felt like she was bored with mine or didn't exactly want to hear them. I love her dearly but they do tend to make you feel bad and are mean sometimes.

Generally, quite the opposite is true. Most of the time Sagittarians are honest, open and happy. There are those who think Sags are too brutally honest in their uncensored way of saying things. Their remarks can sometimes be taken as back handed compliments. If you are a sensitive type that takes everything to heart they can be a challenge to be around for any length of time. It sounds as if your friend may have some challenges in her chart to overcome. She may need to learn to censor herself and not be so combative with others. She will gradually learn this as she loses friends. Lying is not conducive to good friendships. Maybe she will eventually come around.

I'm a Libran and my mum's a Sagittarian and we clash all the time. The thing is, she doesn't think she's being mean or hurtful. She thinks she needs to say the things she does in the tone of voice that she does. They're fiery, but if you talk to them when they're calm, they do go away and think about it. Just sandwich what you have to say between two positive statements to soften the blow. They can be sensitive and reactive (and accuse others of being that way!).

They are a lot of fun too though and they have big hearts.

I'm a Sag too. I don't lie but I do think I'm a *****--but only when provoked. I'm very friendly and I don't start trouble but if someone starts it with me I become very angry. I can and do hold grudges for years. I rarely forgive; I mean, it takes me a long, long time, and usually I decide it's not worth my time.

We are very loyal and treat our friends like jewels. However, we expect the same in return and will just write the person off if we are treated any differently.

Sag's are brutally honest, this is true, but in the grand scheme of things, I would prefer tactless honesty, and know the person is truly being upfront, then sugarcoating lies or being deceptive...so i guess it depends on who you talk to, do you prefer a passive Two Faced Mushy type " IE Pisces, cancer" or a more upfront person

Personally, I'm a Sagittarius and I'm quite respectful of other people. I think horoscopes and star signs cant be the reason why people are nasty or anything for that matter. It sounds like it might be your friends personality.
