Really we already live in two types of universe.
The macroscopic - things that are big and we can see (i.e. bulk matter).

The microscopic (or atomic) world - the things we can't see such as atoms etc

These two worlds are governed by completely different rules.

Therefore according to myself, we already live in a parallel universe - the only thing connecting the two is the speed of light.

When you use those terms, both mean the same thing. An alternate universe would be parallel to us. Credible? I think quantum physics has pretty much guaranteed that it exists.

it`s more easier to belive an alternate than a parallel but you never know what could be out there.
We know just few things about the universe so everithing could be possible. I even think that our logic could not work to understand the universe because it`s too complex and different compared to what we have on Earth.
