An inkpen leaked on the diningroom table and now there is a big stain on it. Nothing too abrasive can be used because of the finish. Clorox wipes have been tried already. Any other ideas?

Try WD 40. I just had good success taking permanent ink from a varnished wood door. But yours may be more set and into the wood.

Spray it on the stain and let it set . It removes gummy labels really well also.

If it hasn't already been washed and dried (that would set the stain) you could try soaking it with hairspray. It will usually lift the ink right out and you can just dab it off with a rag.
