I'm fast as lightin' and never glance down,
I need to get off of here quick and get to town,
If you go slow and look at it constantly
You will never get anywhere than .....dang it....I lost the rhyme.....
You will never get anywhere in life. BLAH

I'm a widdle swow. I used to type fast on a typewriter but that was many years ago. Now I hunt and peck with 2 fingers mainly because I want to avoid hitting more than 1 key at a time. I used to type 64wpm on the old manual typewriters. That was back in the early 70's.

I never look at the keyboard and I rarely look at the screen when I'm typing, I'm usually watching a video or reading something else while typing.. But I re-read what I typed.. Some typos can be really embarrassing.. Like when you want to spell "Duck" but you hit the "F" key instead of the "D"!

I touch-type. I never look at the keyboard and I type about 2000 characters in 10 minutes!

Ordinarily, I stare out of the window. I type for a living so I have no need to look at the keyboard.

I look at the keyboard because I have long nails that slip on the keys. I type 38 WPM.
