How do you make the dry stuff you can buy?

You can purchase them online if you are able. If you can't find anyone around that sells crickets then try looking for waxworms. You can also try seeing if there is a local herp club in your area, they can be great sources for information as well as hard to find foods.

Remember that they need greens and fruit to make up about 20-40% of their diet. Too many people seem to think they are insectivores and fail to give them a properly balanced selection of foods.

Lizardman said it pretty good.

Look to order a "starter colony" of crickets, roaches, or worms online. And just breed your own, roach colonies take a while to get going at a good rate, but once they are goin you'll be trying to give the things away.

Your town has to have a grocery store relatively close, all your leafy green and squash needs should be able to be found there.

if you have access to a grocery store. you have access to all the leafy veggies they need. you can order crickets and mealworms on line. mine used to come from newyorkworms they always treated me good. something you might consider is breeding your own. its not hard and very inexpensive. just google mealworm breeding or cricket breeding and you have all the instructions. I do it and it saves me $50 a month.

You cant make it yourself. You can order it online from reptile supply places. Dont forget that your beardie also needs dark leafy greens (no spinach though), squash and peas.

well i have 2 beardies and i make their food with my food processor and use the food such as(leafy greens, fruits, hard boiled eggs, cooked pasta, tofu, canned dog food). i usually take the greens and fruits & veggies and put in the processor and shred the stuff and then put in a sealed bowl. Do all sorts of the greens and fruits. do not feed any fruit with citric acid like(tomatoes, oranges, lemons, limes, pineapples. i make all this food for a week and it makes it easier when it comes to feed. i then get what i need when i feed them. don't forget to put their vits on the food. they need the vits because they can get a bone defficency and that is a bad thing. don't feed the dry stuff because it does not have any nutrients that they need. it is just like candy becauseit has sweetener in it to make it more appealing. i never feed the dry stuff i only feed the real stuff and the healthy things. if you want to get them to eat protein then you can feed cooked chicken it is a good source of that for them. i feed mine that every week. don't give them to much of one thing because they will not want to eat other things that you give them. you can also feed pinkies to them for extra protein also. i hope all this helps you in what you want to feed them. be careful on what others tell you to feed them because the wrong info can lead to malnutrion or starvation. i breed them and i always tell people that if they need more info then they can email me with the questions. if you need extra help with yours then you can email me at (the.goldens@sbcglobal.net).
good luck.
