It depends on your bargaining skills. Go to many local dealers, then see who has the best price and try to negotiate. Transportation charges and assembly charges are a SCAM! They should be included in the MSRP.
when I bought my 05 1000rr the sticker price was $11,200. I paid $10,000 plus tax and registration which ended up being around $10,900 when it was all said and done.
Taxes and registration depend on where you live.
Dont have any dealer loyalty... just try a bunch of dealers and get the best price. Make sure that you review the paperwork carefully as there are many dealers that will be out to screw you. If you dont understand something, ask the salesperson to put it in writing. If he wont do it.. .he's lying, go to a different dealer.
