Old Newt is just dust now. He doesn't have anymore chance of becoming president of the USA, than my babysitter. I don't have a babysitter, by the way. Newt was already tried in the court of opinion about his affair, years ago. Michael Moore was one of his nemesis, when Newt was speaker of the House. This is an old chapter, however, if you want to dance, you have to listen to the music. It isn't hypocrisy. At least the voters know what they're getting, before they vote. No one knew handsome, deceptive Bill was a cheater, and a womanizer before he ran for president!

Only if a person going after Nixon while having an affair would have been a hypocrite also.
Both cases were about obstruction of justice, with perjury thrown in for Clinton.
This is not to say that Newt's personal life leaves a lot to be desired. As does Clinton's. But there's a difference between a legal investigation and an opinion regarding a person's personal life.

Yes, this is without a doubt, hypocrisy? Of course, all of the people who went after Clinton, where blatant hypocrites. They were all guilty of much worse offenses, many of which really were crimes against the American people, and not just crimes against their spouses, which were none of our business. Ever read a book called glass houses? This book tells all about the unspeakable offenses against the American people that these people committed, as well as all the hypocrisy!!!!

Newt claims not because he didn't lie under oath. I wonder if Newt was having the affair during the time his wife was undergoing cancer treatment and he asked her for a divorce. That's way more "ethical" than not telling the truth.

Of course its hypocrisy. I don't think its any worse than visiting his wife to the terms of his divorce while she was recovering in the hospital from cancer treatment, which he also did. The guy is a real class act.

Gingrich also divored his first wife while she was in a hospital bed being treated for cancer, this guy is a phony, and, sanctimonious about it. He would be dangerous as President.

Newt did not lie under oath, but he is a big fat jerk nonetheless.
