I have the same pain as you this morning ! I have suggested that they have a category where we get to vote on violations. If a question/answer is violated and appealed we get to vote if it is a violation or not . Maybe over level 3-4-5 only. If we decide it is not the points are returned and the violate gets docked. I have gotten no response.

Well, kind of hard to explain but someone just disliked the question or felt attacked or took it serious and got you violated.
Or,did the whole q get violated before entering?
There is a difference:in case 1 it is a a person that flagged the question:react back to Yahoo violations, asking them why this was a violation or just a person who flagged you
I did and got an excuse e-mail and my points back.
If the question does not get posted :then the filter picked up on a word,it does not like:prepostal violation.Had that too, once:wrote a letter and had it restored .
Normally they do not care about it
But sure as hell would try to set this right
This s@CKS BIG TIME.
And indeed name them violators,it will stop them.
Like you can see who star too,you should be able to see who flags you.
SKY.

England is primary simply by fact the land of risk! If a foreigner desires to go there and make the main of his skills there are a lot of doorways are opened for him. And it somewhat is what KP has precisely carried out. If he in my opinion felt gentle representing England than his motherland then it somewhat is his selection. I see KP as between the outstanding skills and aspects of English cricket outstanding now! he's between the main properly known explanation why England defeated Indian in India after 30 years. And little question that he has found out from his previous errors. So Jinxy he's able to kick some butts in Ashes for specific! @Rohal Paul.there's a large distinction in this Ashes rivalry from different rivalries. The English and the Aussies could go toe to toe with one yet another yet nonetheless appreciate each and each others' comments and TU them. it somewhat is the place we could continuously learn from them!

That would be fine, but it would put people off reporting the true violators. Then we'd be over-run by the rantings of racists and other low life. Unfortunately, you have to think hard before posting on here.

Was your Q in the Polls and Surveys section? I can't see a thing wrong. Mind you I'm not a lawyer. There should be a course on violation avoidance. I wonder if it would be a simple module or a degree.

Hi sweetie,

I get a violation notice, when I thank people for their replies-explanation, I'm too chatty.
It's just being friendly, and there are times when people are down, and you want to cheer them up.

But who would want to snitch?

Your question seems fine to me.

No, it's not for people of nervous disposition;-)

That sorts that out!

I write to yahoo, every time one of my friends get thrown off the site, because it makes me mad, and we need to support each other.

If I can still contact them, I ask how I can give support before I rush in...

I see nothing wrong with the question. The stupid thing about Y! Answers is that anybody can report a question/ answer and it gets deleted without Yahoo even looking at it!

I think they might class that as 'chat', which could be why they removed it? Just a suggestion, I've seen it happen so many times, and it is part of the T&Cs.

I agree that they get anally retentive about this - harmless questions are removed immediately while plenty of nasty tripe festers here despite being reported. I know they have to save bandwidth but, hello Yahoo! Priorities??

I got a violation and a question deleted so I've written to Yahoo to tell them they are wrong and I want my question back.

I am finding they have no sense of humour anymore.

Kennyboy: That doesn't seem violation-worthy to me. Hey, maybe they're targeting the top contributors! lol. Look at how many feel your pain!
