The first thing you will have to consider is if your downloaded driver is fully downloaded. This could cause a problem of installation. The next thing is your option when selecting the location of the driver and type of printer selction when using your printer wizard, make a choice from the manufacturer list. Or alternatively if your printer is connected already and it is dected by the computer just let it search for the driver and select the location of your downloaded driver when prompted to do so. Now if all these does not get to this stage above, and your printer is not detected I will advice that you check your USB cable to see if it is working properly. All the best.
