There are no coincidences. They are connections. They are examples of fate at work. It is true that the more conscious or aware you are of them, the more seem to happen only because you notice them. It all has to do with perception...
After I went to Bavaria, Germany & saw my favourite castle, Neuschwanstein, I kept seeing it everywhere. I had never heard of it until I started researching for my trip. Then when I got back from Europe, it was everywhere: tv documentaries about Mad King Ludwig's castle, the covers of books & calendars, even movie posters. They even came out with commemorative plates & sculptures of it (which I bought as souvenirs). It was odd. Once I had been there, it's like the whole world knew about it. It seemed like I was the centre of the universe! If I liked something then it would be the next biggest thing! But the truth is this: my eyes were drawn to it because I loved it & knew about it. Had I never been to Bavaria or knew about that beautiful white castle on a mountain, I wouldn't have noticed all the books & posters etc because they wouldn't have meant anything to me. It's like when you buy a new silver car and all of a sudden it seems like everyone drives a silver car, but it's only because your eyes are drawn to them.
I noticed strange things happening with 3's. Addresses would be 333, phone numbers would have 3 3's. Then it seemed each time I looked at the clock it was 3:33, 9:33 etc...I thought it must mean something because it happened too often to be a coincidence, but it's like my brain just knew when to look at the clock to freak myself out!
Usually I think things happen for a reason. Some things are meant to be. I believe in fate. All things are connected. People & things come into our lives to teach us something. There are no coincidences...
Just my opinion!
Cheers!

One time I called a psychic hot line and the woman on the phone said, She saw my life going along two paths, the first I would have a set of twins but one of them would die before the age of three, the second was that my first born would be a different sex than all my best friends. So I thought it was bs. Little did I know that my life took the second path and all my best friends first borns are girls, and I had a boy. Even though I wanted a girl, I am glad my life took this path because I don't think I could handle the loss of a child.

I think the more you think about it the more you notice it. Coincidence happens all the time and we often don't take notice. It's like we're in the dark and it's happening right in front of us but we don't see it because it's dark. Now if you turn on the light you'll say wow look at that what a coincidence! Give light to anything and we'll see it more often.

Here is an article of mine on the subject of synchronicity|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is Synchronicity? - Also known as "Parallelism"
---- ---- ---- ---- ---
What synchronicity states is that events occur in patterns according
to their meanings.
For example, it is often observed that related events occur in
groups (you know the old saying, bad things happen in threes).
The laws of physics are merely the most superficial manifestations
of that.
The universe can be considered an infinite computer.
It can be described by the systems theory equations:
x' = Ax + Bu
y = Cx + Du
where u is *input,* y is *output,* x is the *state space* variable,
and x' is the *time rate of change* of the state.
This would be expanded into infinite matrix form to model the
physical universe.
(Also known as LTI representation in Linear Systems).
Many people believe that the providence of God is simply Him putting
things where He wants in arbitrary order.
However, He downloads most of His governance to synchronicity, as
things in His order harmonize into a profound law.
As the LTI representation says, the system has both inputs and
outputs.
The inputs are our free-will choices (both good and bad); this also
includes angelic interventions (from both good angels and demons),
and direct miracle performed by God.
The outputs are rewards and punishments, as reward is the good that
we have sent into the system being reflected back upon ourselves,
and punishment is the evil that we have sent into the system being
reflected back upon ourselves.
This also explains the evil that comes into people's lives.
God does not send such evil by a direct act of His, but allows the
system to compute a "result."
If something bad happens to someone, it is *due* to that person as a
result of God's permissive will.
Synchronicity ensures that exactly the right evil comes into a
person's life, that that person needs (for either punishment,
purification, or sanctification).
For example, when we consider the 9/11 disaster (9 is the number of
God's power, and 11 is the number of judgment), every injury that
every person received (of whatever type), the exact type of death
that they experienced, was computed by synchronicity.
No doubt, God's mercy much ameliorated what would be strictly due
as a result of a brute computation.
He would do this by sending His angels in to minister, and He
Himself would perform supernatural miracles, where that was fit.

i have noticed this in my life
when a synchronous event happens
mention it
don't judge whether it was a coincidence or not
and you will notice them happening more often
its fascinating
ps
some people will claim they are only coincedences
you just notice them more because you were paying attention
they didnt increase in frequency
these people have already made up their minds
that although life is full of intelligent design
and miraculous pattern
the unfolding of events has no pattern
remember dont judge them
just notice them
