If so, could you ask him to borrow me a tenner? (I am not asking you because I know you are always broke like me)

The guy wore a bed sheet, sandals and couldn't even afford a descent hair cut. You reckon he has a tenner?

I'll pray for you. By the way I'm not broke at all and would gladly give you a tenner if you asked a more sensible question.

I do have a friend in Jesus and because I do, I will not be too offended by your insensitive question. I will, instead, pray right now that at this moment, that He would send someone to cross your path today to show you His great love. I'll also ask Him to help you with your finances, and remind you that it is He who gives you the very breath you breathe. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, and He cares about even the minute details of our lives. Remember that when He walked the earth, He did not carry a fat wallet. He was a humble carpenter by trade, but was rich in every other way. I'd send you a ten just to show you kindness; Jesus offers you Himself today at no cost.

I do have a friend in Jesus, and don't you dare dip your hand into that collection plate on Sunday morning.....But as far as being a lender, I usually give it out to a family member or a friend if necessary. They return the favor when I'm busted, too.

He has given you a lot more then money and He is not asking it to be paid back, and that is He laid down His life for you on Calvary. Shame on you for making this statement. Christ is not Someone to take lightly, or to make fun of. Remember one day you are going to have to stand in front of Him and give account of yourself, and the life you lived, and EVERY idle word you have spoken you will also have to give an account of.

I have many friends in Jesus. They all look to him for their needs and so do I.
