Every society can have a balanced growth only when gender bias is optimised. However gender bias and descrimination is widely practiced in many social systems. For every person to be conscious and vigilant on this issue is of paramount importance and hence this simple but highly debatable question.

No way. Leadership is dependent onn individual ability, not on gender. To think so is absurd.

Should they be considered... But why should they be considered as better leaders? Now isn't that being gender baised?

A good leader has nothing to do with it's gender. Any person possessing the charisma, character, attitude, and other qualities required in a good can be a good leader.

The issue is of paramount importance and every person needs to be concious and vigilant on the issue. So considering a specific gender as a good leader would be a waste of time.

Utilize you time assessing the personality of a person not just make generalized decisions based on gender...

:-)

NO they should not and boys no better leaders than girls what it comes down to is personality I mean Hitler was one hell of a leader crazy but a leader all the same a leader is someone who is respectful, truthful, kind, sweet, honest, and open-minded but they also have to be the complete opposite having the ability to do both is amazing in people. Sex does not have anything to do with any thing any more to me I mean boys do every thing girls do and then some. Yes ladies are told to act a bit more timid than boys honestly who listens anymore. Remember leaders are not raised they are born no one is a leader over night my belief is that we are born with a fate and we make the choices leading up to our fate we may go oh hell no I won't allow that but the fact is by not allowing it your character takes over without you being aware of it so how can you not? so we all are equal and do the things we are meant to do. There are male leaders and female leaders what more do you want in the world?

No gender-bender in Leadership. History tells Men are more in numbers as better leaders. But when an woman leads she gets more support from men and generally get noticed as they are small in numbers. But there is visible silver lining in increasing number of woman-leader. Equal chance may be given irrespective of gender.

Many occasions it is found that a woman often loses to become a better leader as they have to bear child and are forced to be the home maker. Yes, shameful. But so far I have come across rare examples where it is other-way round.

Being a proud father of two daughters, I shall always look forward for a world of equal opportunity.

I believe women will be better leader when equal opportunity is available to them. When that day will come?

No. It is the persons personality, drive and Charisma that will see whether or not they are a good leader. Gender has very little to do with it. I know leaders of both sexes and some are good, some are bad. (And some....bush.....just plain awful!).
It is up to each individual to prove their own worth as leadership material.

No doubt the women who are successfull are realy upto the mark. You can fully believe and give the leadership to the women with out any doubt, I think you can be honest to their professional life without any criticizm. But men are not ready to digest this change but they have to at any cost, and i will be one to make them digest that she can be a leader in every walk of life.

Well, yeah. The statistics and the scientists say that females' minds are better organized in the case of leadership and commanding. Women have a stronger sense of responsibility. But every rule has its exception.

No. We are too emotional and kind hearted. Being a leader requires strength and control, which women don't have in the same degree as men. This is just the way it is. We have estrogen which makes us act the way we do, you guys have testosterone.
