Not usually. I generally answer for one of the following reasons:
a) I'm bored
b) The question was interesting or funny
c) I think my answer will be interesting or funny
d) The question made me mad and I want to provide the asker with an alternative point of view (respectfully, of course)
e) I think I could honestly help someone with a problem

Once I hit level 5 and have unlimited Answers and Questions I've gotten picky. I used to answer some of the easy ones for points when I first started.

I answer to try to help, but I also answer because I find the question funny or interesting. I really don't think about the 2 points.

I only answer if I like the question, be it interesting, funny, unusual, whatever but I don't bother with questions that are very smutty because the answers are usually heading in an even lower direction. Your questions seem to be different and I like that.

This is a two point answer question, however, I usually search for more fulfilling questions to answer unless I feel a question to be easily resolved, then I take the points and go.

Out of interest, if i'm not interested i won't answer, and also if i feel i know something about what is being asked then i like to give an opinion on it.

I answer to help someone out. Most people wouldn't ask a question unless they wanted an answer. Some people just ask them to be an ***. To those questions, I give funny and humorous answers..

i dont care about the points, i just answer if its a funny question or something that i do truly think i can give knowledgable advice on. but depending on my mood sometimes i just answer to be a smart ***
