I'd like to install a Windows server at my home office. I'm wondering if that will cause any power problems. Also any ideas how much of electricity bill I will get hosting a small scale Windows server in house?

No it will not cause any problems . The one thing you will have to consider is security. In a network environment you really need to do your homework so that everything is secured properly. If this server will be connected to the internet (which most are now days) security will be of the up most importance. Now you have to worry about client privacy and such.

Sure, it won't consume much more power than your regular computer.
