Death and Birth are tricky things that we should consider. We have brains for it, but we will never know the sensation of birth, or at least we forget about it. Death is threatening to us in many ways, but we really do not have much understanding of it. More importantly, I would ask why we are scare. Knowing where I might reach after death is not a possible reality as long as I'm breathing, but I would like to know why we are scare of death.

I'm getting ahead of my conclusion, but let me ask.
If you are scare of leaving behind people you care, then why do you believe you care about them and that how could this link with death? Do you feel there is connection between them? Of course, if you believe so, but I would like to know if there might be more clear connections?

If "Lord" is there to guide us, are you saying each of us has a soul that never dies? Then, what does this signifies about our physical body? If so, why would we even fear of death? So, if we are "saved", we would certainly have knowledge of reality? Or, what Plato might call "idea human"?

No, I'm not scared of death. I was fortunate enough to have someone who was very wise introduce me to it when I was young and help me learn that it's just a natural part of life. I feel that it's just another phase of our existence, and it isn't a *final* thing. I like to think of it as 'shedding our earthly skin' and crossing over into the next realm of life. Something wonderful is waiting for us over there!

I am scared of death. I believe in God, an afterlife, and the immortal soul. Just because we have souls, that doesn't mean our physical bodies are willing to die or we won't fear death. The human will and physical body will hold onto life as long as it can.
The body is a vehicle for the soul. The soul never dies. But I still fear death.
I think people are scared of dying because we are sensory beings; touch, taste, smell, sound, sight... Being void of those senses at once is a foreign experience to us, because we are cognitive beings who live by stimuli and learned experiences, but at the same time cannot comprehend what "ceasing to exist" means.
I don't believe we created a notion of afterlife to make ourselves feel better, I just think that our inability to understand "ceasing to exist" means is just the human condition, like our inability to know what came before the Universe, or what God is like if you believe in Him.
I have a strong connection with the ones I love, and I believe that connection will last into the afterlife, when loved ones are reunited. Death may or may not be painful, in respect to the causes; ie, heart attack, cancer, auto accidents, gunshots, etc... But I feel that if pain is so immense, the body shuts down and goes into shock, then death.
Death is the ultimate unknown to many. But if you lead a good life, (not even by religion, but by the laws of humanity) and treat your fellow human as you would like to be treated, then you need not worry. Just surrender yourself to God, the Universe, the Higher Power, live your life, and accept your unknown earthly departure, and know in your heart that you will be ready for whatever lies ahead.
That is all you can do.

Facing death and feelings toward it is all in your perception. Physical death is iminant for everyone. People become scared of death in a sense due to not knowing 'how' they will die.... will it be painful, peaceful, quick, drawn out, etc. Also, people view death as having to leave behind loved ones, family, etc. Being scared also comes from ones own ideas of what will happen after death ---- that being said would go into a completely different topic.

Kindly excuse my saying so that my lord Jesus Christ did not conquer death. He did conquer the fear of death . In that lies the answer. Why was he not afraid. And why are we. The lesson is that we should not ask for death, but we should always be prepared to welcome death. The earlier the better. Again, this requires a reflection. The more we live, the more liabilities do we collect. Instead of wishing to live longer, we may wish to live this moment well. Who can predict the next moment !

Why do animal's run away from human's? Have you ever watch death? It's so much a part of life, it's the natural process of the material body that wants to fight to keep on living. So its inherent in your mind, as your physical body passes, fear.Nothing you can do about it, accept it and let your spiritual life take over. Then your fear is no more. Be more aware of your spiritual life! That is where you will find your answers.

Well. We will never know what death is like till we die. Even after we die we might never know if we died. What if we just perish don't goto hell or heaven or whever just dead?
Its not a good thing to be scared of death which is something we never know. Just think of it like fun you might be in another place like a heaven. Dream as if you are here to train yourself for the next phase which is after death. But hey don't dream too much of it. Only when you are afraid of death.

I'm less scared by death itself than by what will happen to those I leave behind? What if I die when my kids are still young and dependent on me? When I was a child I was afraid because I thought death was like a big black hole with nothing in. I don't anymore...

No, because I trust God to give me peace when it is my time. I also trust Him to prepare me and my loved ones beforehand, so that it will not be more than they can bear, and to provide them the strength they need afterward. I know that I may not be able to "see" all of this, and that they may not either, but I do not have to understand or see it for God to do it.
Before I got saved, I was terrified of death. Afterwords, I knew that I had met my Lord, and that He would take care of me.
My mother died before I was saved, and I felt awful. I missed her terribly. I also felt as though I was looking into a black oblivion- my image of the nothingness I felt- and it made me numb for awhile. A few years later, after I was saved, my grandmother passed away. Even though I missed her a great deal, I had a deep peace, from God. I now know where both of them are!

I don't fear death. There is no need! We will all die! One day you will be dead and so will i. I dont know if im going to heaven, hell or if i'm destined to rot in a wooden box 6 feet beneath the ground.
That day wasn't today and i hope it wont be tommorow but i have no way of knowing! This however i do know! Life is too short to "fear" or "worry" about death and dying. you, we all, have been given a wonderfull gift...... Life.
Who gave it to you? Dunno.
Does it matter? You'll find out some day.
Untill that day. Just live brother!

you do not say how previous you at the instant are yet i'm guessing a minimum of in 3 hundred and sixty 5 days 9 or 10. i be responsive to how undesirable the bullying could be and how depressed it makes you. It seems such as you have gotten a sprint help with the slicing. go on your mum of pop or depended on person and tell them what you have shared with us on right here. or have them study this. you prefer help to recover from those emotions. I even have made it by using such issues yet with help and that i'm a Christian and God delivered me a lengthy way. i be responsive to I even have His love and he's often with me so i don't could desire to sense on my own each and all the time. in case you don't be responsive to God or are of a various faith please confer with somebody close to you which you will divulge to. in case you're having intense highs and low lows you would be able to desire to be having a chemical imbalance and that could be dealt with with drugs. good success
