I'm going for 1 or 2 nights, does anyone know a decent but reasonable hotel here? Is Barcelona the closest airport? Who flies there from IST?

I think you have a great suggestion from the other post, but if you need instant availability or a good hotel reduced in price try the options listed below which you can sort by price, location, star rating and look at the photos and free inclusions, like amenities etc.
At least you can compare what's on offer and you location may be a bit flexible

The closest airport is Barcelona. Vilassar is really close to Barcelona and you can take a train from the airport to Plaça Catalunya and then change trains direction to Mataró...they stop in Vilassar de Mar. There you have an address for a cheap hotel:
