Im going to study in america next year... In my current school, we have to wear a uniform, and ive been used to that all my life! so i have no clue wat to wear to school next year? any tips? im thinking jeans, but jeans for 9 months is kinda tooo much... even though i adore jeans :( thanks in advance!! Well, to answer your actual question, I wear a blue pinafore and a white blouse- yeah a uniform.
For american high schools, just be comfortable with jeans and an array of tops. Also add some cool pants into your dressing if you can (three quarters, cut-offs etc.)
You could always wear bohemian skirts (the long type) so long as their not too dressy. Also, some slightly below the knee skirts work just as fine.

Jeans are great. Try different styles like boot cut or skinny. You can also try denim minis with leggings, or long tops over leggings as well as courdaroys. Basically anything comfortable. Opt for a laid back Juicy Couture sweatsuit on those tired days. Buy some cute sweatshirts and zip ups to be a little more comfy yet trendy. Cute sneakers would probably be the best shoe. Since you will be walking around a lot, they will be more comfortable then heels. Ballet flats and other flats as well as Uggs or moccasins for the winter are options too. Hope this helps!

There are a lot of things to wear.
You can decide on comfortable wear, casual wear, the "layered" look, boots over pants, etc...
One example of what people usually wear is brand name. Such as Abercrombie (and Fitch), Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Express, and more! (Some of them aren't even that expensive and you can get a lot from the sales rack ^^)
Instead of jeans, during the hot months, wear skirts and shorts and capris. It's much better than dying in jean. And sweatsuits are good too :)

Wear whatever appeals to you the most. Hit the local mall in America and wear whatever you want brother!
Don't give a DAMN what people think about you. Do your own thing and you'll go far.
Never fall under peer pressure, do things the way you want to.
