Yes, it is 24 weeks but some clinics have their own limits before then.

A THERAPUTIC termination is NOT illegal, for goodness sake.
A theraputic abortion is a termination that is sought before the pregnancy is viable to either preserve maternal health, or because the fetus has defects that are incompatible with life outside the womb. Theraputic abortion is also used to selectively reduce a multiple pregnancy where the lives of the mother and/or babies is seriously compromised.
It is not a "back yard" procedure.
Maybe you should try that 60 second search again.

oh for heavens sake, get a grip all of u!!! she didn't ask for your opinions on abortion or whether she should have one. Honey most of these people answering this have absolutely NO IDEA of what they are talking about, most of them are either christians, schoolgirls who listen too much to their little friends or pro-lifers who care nothing for the child once its born, they are only obsessed with the "protecting" the fetus from some weird sense of misinformed and misguided moral idea!! None of them are qualified to answer your question, and Im so sorry u had to endure all this abuse.
Listen to the lady who is an RN Midwife, she actually KNOWS what she is talking about.

I believe it is 24 weeks, but many babies can still survive at that age. If you want a termination the earlier the better, you don't want to have a baby looking foetus on your mind.

A legal abortion is preformed up to 24 weeks but you need 2 doctors to agree to let you do this. after 24 week abortions will be given if there is a risk to the mothers life or there are foetal abnormalities.
All it takes is less than 60 seconds to put words into a search engine to get results and you will avoid all the nasty answerer's that you can end up with unless that's what you wanted to happen to see people argue and get aggressive!!!

I have been trying to get pregnant for 2yrs, so I wouldn't know about this.
