From my point of view, a smart girl is someone who can keep up a conversation with anyone about most things, or has a yearn to learn about things she doesn't. A lot of girls I have met, have stopped paying attention, when I start talking about things NOT associated with them, or their likes. So, in short, maybe a worldly girl who is courteous and friendly.
