Orthodox easter is usually a week after Our Western easter, but this year for some reason they fall on the same date, if I understand correctly. So, the eighth it is for all, round the world.

Easter varies yearly. The only thing true is that it occurs on a Sunday all the time. In Orthodox countries like Russia, Greece, etc it may be celebrated on a different day from the Catholic west. You can "goes" easter egg hunting in your own backyard if all I care. Try a local Christian Church with children's Easter program activities. This year it is April 8.

No, Easter is the same everywhere becuase it's calculated depending on the lunar cycle. But as Chocolate Eggs have very little to do with the story of the reincarnation of Christ I guess you can host an Egg Hunt at anytime...

It is true that they are celebrated on different days. I'm ortodox and we ussually celebrate it after catolics easter. Sometimes 5weeks later. it has to do with old calendar that we kept for celebrations. Our Christmas is on 7th January. And if you go further back in the history you'll see that when christianity split to catholics and orthodox, orhodox kept the old calendar. So one day 1st of January was moved 14days back. So we still celebrate new year on 13th January and christmas is 7 days earlier.(something like chinese new year).
