I've used machines from Thermal Dynamics and ESAB. Just not those models. The ESAB seemed to be tougher, and didn't go through the consumables as fast.

Having dealt with the power supply and contol portions already with their welders for so long, Lincoln and Miller should make a fine product.

I have found that most of the machines are real close to the catalog specs.

The only one I've used is the Thermal Dynamics, Liked it. My shop help was able to learn quickly cause its pretty user friendly.

I like the Miller and ESAB's myself.
