I'm not sure what the question is about but I think icom stands for information communication and that IC means the same but just in a shorter form.

The 7000 is probably the model number and uk stands for united kingdom and mods probably means modems

tx probably stands for texas - where it might be made

Your talking about a HF rig i take it.. go to www.mods.dk and register ,fill in the details and select for them to send you emails for modifications for your radio,i have been getting mods for my radio now for two or more years,this site is recommended..hope this helps....Steve
