As a side note, which Marvel character do you want dead?
For me, I want to see Charles Xavier dead. (I don't hate him. I just want to see what will happen if he died, especially the effects on the X-Men.)

i think it was just a publicity stunt, its nothing new in marvel cap has died many times beforew and somehow he remerged all of a sudden i don t think that kiilin him was agood idea,he represented the rebel side during civil war and i liked that he stood for the ideals that america was founded on, and killing him in this troubled times was not noble,it just goes to show how some writers would do anything to impress without any regard for the characters they use.I would like to see spiderman die, he has never died before and he is so popular that everyone would talk about it.

I thought that the way that CAptain American died was shameful I mean c'mon the guy withstood bomb explosions, Cryogenic freezing but he was killed by a single sniper bullet...thats just a sad end to a brilliant superhero. By the way to your side note if you watched the X-men 3 movie you would know how the X-men reacted to Charles Xaviers death as he died in the movie. Exploded into tiny molecules....literally.

Marvel did to get attention ...and boy did it work. They have tons of press and questions on here about Cap. I don't think they should have killed him. But comic characters never stay dead...they always return. Look for him to come back in 2009. Thats when Marvel is gonna release his live action movie.

Personally, I would've picked Cap to die anyway. I never follow his story-I'm barely following any Marvel stories, really.

I don't think he should have died.

I don't like it when characters die, even the villians. It just doesn't feel right. Don't we have enough death in real life? Why must there be death in fantasy?
