have laptop and desktop, thinking of putting broadband on both using the same installation disc. is it possible or would disc somehow recognise this.

Works with Tiscali. Although if you want to use both at the same time it's better to put it on one and use a network hub (ethernet) between the two and Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). Better yet get a wireless hub.

Yes I`m sure you`ll be able to do it, we have two laptops with a wireless connection and used the same disc for both.

You are paying for the broadband connection to your home. The disk just installs software that sets up your computer to use it.
You can install the software on as many machines as you like.

Yes you can. If your laptop is wireless capable you don't need to put it on there. You laptop should automatically find your broadband connection, unless your laptop need a NIC card to connect to the internet.
