I read the News 36 Indians among the World Richest .What about the people die for even one time meal a day. Also we read lot farmers getting suicide due to poor yield or failure of moonsoon where not able to pay loan amount. How fast we can develope the technology which will help high yields & less consumption of water & very short period of cultivation ( time from sow to crop). How the RICH people even spent little of their money to help the poor & help devolping the new technology . I feel other persons can put thier view on this subject which will go in long way help cause.

More than 60% of our poulation is involved in primary sector activities. but it contributes only about 1/4 in GDP. about 10% people in urban areas hold more than 70% assets. and the picture is nearly same in rural areas also.
this fact indicates the vast gap between rich and poor, and the need for drastic reforms to build the bridge between the rich and poor's money earnings. For this :
Firstly :--
we need to develope the agriculture sector for this the following steps have to be taken.. 1:- investments in agriculture sector should be increased. 2-better co-relation between agriculture policy &export policy.
3:-to improve the role of farmers in the market.& discourage the role of mediators.
4:-to provide full insurance coverage for crops.
5;- to provide developed fertilizers & seeds according to climetic condions.
SECONDLY:
to develope small scale industry &cottage industry, because it uses local skills & resources.it has more potential to generate employment at lower investment costs.& earning foreign exchange.
THIRDLY:
To modernise R&D facelities. funds for this purpose can be obtained by implementing cess on higher levels of income.
in our country we need to develope labour intensive technology and also improve efficiency of manpower.
FOURTH
prvision of better & improved facilities like - communication, electricity, education, health, market ,connectivity etc. to boost up living standards of the poor people.

The gap between the rich and the poor will only be bridged by implementing the following among others:
1. Most countries which suffer from this syndrome are mostly agriculturally endowed countries like Kenya, India, Brazil and Congo DRC. The goverments should invest more in Agriculture and provide tax holidays and other attractive incentive as agric. can employ a good percentage of the poor.
2. The Multinationals from Europe & America should stop exploiting the poor nations in Asia & Africa by operating under powerful cartels eg. oil companies, drug manufactures.
3. The America & Europe goverments should stop funding dictators and corrupt leaders from Africa and Asia since this funds are repaid by the poor but are looted and rerouted back to the West by the corrupt regimes.

Answering precisely is difficult to this question. India is not a poor country. We all know that. What I feel is..There are so many factors involved in this, like corruption, politics, carelessness, selfishness among humans etc, etc. If a rule is equal to all, this situation may come down. There is a good possiblity for that. If a rich breaks a rule it is fine in India. All the rules are only below the middle class and it can't touch the rich.
It applies to all the objectives here. If that situation comes from the government side and from the Indians, then we can think about this.

if you bring in new capital to replace farmers then those farmers will die from homelessness. farmers don't want more equipment that will replace them eventually.

economists believe, due to simulations, that if you took all of USA's money and redistributed it equally among the people. the rich and poor eventually would end up being the same people. a lot has to do with money management. they never teach that in schools.

there's also the mentality that a rich person worked hard for their money. someone not rich didn't work as hard and therefore shouldn't be getting money from the rich. the rich already pay higher taxes. the super rich know all about the financial system and how to get around being taxed more.

First of all, the facilities given free of cost is to be discontinued. As the child labour has been abolished, education upto HSC should be made compulsory and the Lowest administration level is to be made responsible for the implementation. Food and study materials for the poor may be given as loan which is to be repaid on getting employment. Once educated all the problems will go automatically.
Taxing the higher income group is not a correct solution as long as the tax collected is given to poor as gift to remain as poor.
