I'm Curious to know if there is anyone under the age of 40 who really enjoys her music/lyrics and if you do would you tell your friends?

yes.I think she a fabulous singer song writer.I love the song my coat of many colours.My Mam used to sing it to me when I was a child and would cry every time my Mam sang it to me.Yes most of my friends know that I like to listen to Dolly Parton some times,they think I am a weird liking her but that's alright as I am a wee weird at times.

I have to admit i do like her and i'm only 22! Her music just sotra draws u in and u think u shouldn't like it but u cant help yourself!! Some of her lyrics are quite deep and powerful. I will always love you is beautiful, and i'm sure some women can relate to the song Jolene. And who hasn't had a boogie to the cheesy remix of 9-5 on a Sat night?!! Shes fab, I wish my clevage was as fab as hers!

I was under forty once...and i must of been about 25 or 30.and the film 9 to 5...showed me a happy moment..

I don't listen to her music but if I did, I probably would have told my close friends. haha
I enjoyed those cheesy comedy films when I was younger, such as 'Nine to Five' (1980)
Hate to admit that I cried when I watched the drama 'Steel Magnolias' (1989)!!! I hate weepy films because they just make me cry?!!
Am 30 by the way.

I actually think she's kinda cool, 9-5 is the best karaoke song ever (if you can keep up, it's really fast) I'm 22.

I have to be honest. I am not a fan of country music but when I was very young and saw 9 to 5 for the first time I lusted after that woman for years lol. She was so voluptuous and beautiful. WTF happend to her

Me! I'm only 26 and have always loved her music, my fave is Jolene. I think it was after seeing her in nine till five. I also love her films, I love her in Steel Magnolias.
