Speed Playing?

My right hand is bad and hurts real bad when I pick. I get each note clean. My right hand in pain when I pick notes with a pick since I never used a pick for the last 6 years because I figure they were useless unless you were speed playing or being technical. Having a bad right hand tremor hurts too, so I left like Neil Young adqaute lead, and rthym work, but not much flash.

You do not need flash ! Everyone else is already doing that. Just develope your own style, and enjoy what you do. If you do not want to use a pick, then do not use one.
