20 cm=2 dm
30 cm=3 dm
40 cm=4 dm
Therefore capacity of the tank in litres
=2*3*4
=24 litres ( 1 cubic decimeter is 1 litre)

First you have to find the volume of thetank. U do that by doing length*width*hieght.
and that is:
20cm*30cm*40cm
so, the tank holds 2400cm^3, because volume is measured in cm^3
so then u convert from cm^3 to liters, which gives u 24 Liters
