How do I stop my head exploding?????

- Stress -

In the process of buying a house
Must exchange contracts today or the deal falls through
Mortgage company messing getting offer out to solicitor
People we are buying from must exchange today or they lose their place
If it all falls through we lose the house + job!
already had to send my wife and kids to the new area we're moving to as her job has started there (200 miles away)
Time is running out
My head is about to explode
No exchange = no house, no job, nowhere to live!
Anyone got a spare 200K they can lend me until next week?

Why would not buying a house lose a job, if the deal falls through then rent a place and live there until you get another house, there are more for sale surely? i used to to stress like u, funny thing is it all stopped when i had a breakdown, get my meaning?

Haven't got the 200k but you have my sympathies.

It WILL all work out in the end it just doesn't feel like it at the moment.

Even if this house falls through I'm sure there is something you can rent short term while you find another.

The light is always darkest just before the dawn or so they say.

To prevent your head exploding -

1. Open your head.
2. Pick up a pair of pliers.
3. Cut the red wire.
4. This will stop the countdown timer and you will save the world.

Relax, talk to solicitor and put the pressure on to them, they will pass it on to the mortgage company.
Just before xmas we lost out on a house that was due to complete in a couple of weeks due to the vendor wanting an extra 30K, the housing market here risen by 40% last year but there was no way I was going to pay.
