I got implants 2 yrs ago and I love them!! Love them, love them, love them! :) I was definitely glad to get them done, because like you, I'd wanted implants for many years. I'd been dissatisfied with my disproportionately small boobs since late elementary school, but never thought I'd have the courage nor the finances to get implants. I didn't strongly consider getting them until I started making REAL money and wanted to spoil myself as overcompensation for all the financially hard times I'd gone through prior. Plus, a few of my friends had good experiences with their implants, so that assured me that it wouldn't be as "scary" as many people think.
Here's some info about my implants: I got them at age 22, and I went from a 34A to a full 34C/small 32-34D. Each implant was inserted through the crease along the bottom of each boob. The implants are filled with 450CC of saline(salt water) in each one. I was prescribed Vicodin, Valium, Zofran, and antibiotics for after the surgery. I didn't experience nearly as much pain as my friends claimed there was(although I'm a hard-*** lol), it felt more like a huge "headache" on top of my chest and I couldn't move my arms or shoulders for up to 4 days. I was bedridden for a few days(except for using toilet or shower), and my at-time boyfriend took good care of me and fed me tomato soup through a straw. It was a nice restful "vacation" after working so much overtime to afford the surgery! And the after effects were so worth it. For the first few months, my implants were practically up to my neck and hard as rocks. They were swollen, and the skin looked slightly shiny from being stretched(no stretch marks though). It took up to a full year for them to drop into place and look natural, but now they look great!
Please do look a lot of research on it! You must be very comfortable with the procedure and concepts of breast augmentation before committing to it. Plus, you will need to know a bit about the surgery so that you can properly "interview" various surgeons to find the one that is best. Trust me, you do NOT want to go to a bad surgeon!(that happened to a friend of mine) There are many types of implants and incision points too, so you must research all options to realize which option would be best for you!
There are various incision points. The most common and easiest method is to go through the creases under each boob. You can also have them go through the areola(they cut off the areola and nipple, then sew them back on), but this results in risk of scarring around the areola(a'la Tara Reid) or inability to breast feed. You can also get them inserted through the armpits or even up through the belly button, but those two procedures are more expensive(about $1500 more) and they have more risks associated with them. For example, my doctor doesn't like using the armpit method, because there's risk with all of the capillaries and glands found in the armpits. He doesn't like the added risk of infection or possibly severing one of the capillaries. But each surgeon has his/her own technique or preferences, so please shop around for a good surgeon! Consultations are free for most of them. Good luck!

I've never had them but i have several friends that have. None regret them and the first couple of days are the worst although you WILL be sore for awhile after, it depends on your tolerance for pain. As far as the breast feeding? I am thinking you won't be able to after you have the surgery but if its something that bothers you, you should do more research on it or just ask your doctor.

I know you won't listen, but my advice is not to go through with it. You will always feel like you're carrying around these foreign objects in your chest. Your breasts will never feel completely natural. Depending on what kind of procedure you get, you can completely or partially lose the feeling in your nipples, and it is also possible, once again depending on what kind of procedure you get, that you will be unable to breastfeed. The average lifespan of a breast implant is seven to ten years, and after that you'll need to have new surgery to replace them.
As a man, I'd rather have them small and real than large and fake. These things will never feel like your real breasts, and they'll never look like the real thing when your clothes come off.

Breast implant surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

As for my opinion...you better not take it... I mean you can always have alternatives... you can wear underwired or padded bra just make it look bigger...rather suffer the side effects of it....

think about your decision. consider the fact that it is surgery and there is always the risk of complications. understand that your insecurities won't disappear with foreign objects placed in your chest.
