I need a laptop which hopefully has vista, 64 bit and some seperate graphics card, not integrated.

Other thing is, whats the best, these Intel Duo things or AMD Turon?

You will be extremely lucky to get a separate graphics card in a notebook for £500.

Best you could really hope for is an integrated 3D accelerated card by Ati or Nvidia. £500 inc VAT is not a huge budget I would go to www.ebuyer.co.uk and look at their selection of Acer notebooks that offer great value for money despite not being the biggest brand.

As for AMD or Intel unfortunately at the moment it is intel all the way check the article out from Toms Hardware:

No contest really but balance this against screen size and graphics capability. Personally I would sacrifice the processor for the graphics in the above choice but that is just me.

No way will you get a laptop with separate graphics card for £500. If its for vista be very careful as only intel graphics which will run aeros side of vista is the intel 950GMA.

If you buy an Acer this will give you up to 224mb of shared graphics. No other laptop for this price offers you so much. Check the comet site below. My son has this laptop and is very recommended. It's dual core too. Hope this helps

Get yourself down to PC world. They have some of their own brand laptops for around £500, but I doubt you'll get a seperate video card - worth a try though.

As for the Intel vs. AMD - I prefer Intel and there are some that swear by AMD. I have two laptops, one AMD Athlon and one Intel Core Duo. They both work just fine....
