best shooter in the nba right now u have to give it to Ray Allen. his shot is text book perfect and he can get it off from all distances. i know people may say Arenas or Kobe as both put up the numbers from all areas.....but in comparing all 3, im sure Ray Allen has the best %'s. he is the only reason the Sonics are doing as well as they are....imagine Allen in a team with a dominant post man....

This question has a lot of aspects to consider. Is it the best 3 point shooter in an open situation (e.g. 3 point shootout) or is it in a pressure situation (e.g. game winning or for a tie as time winds down)?

For open situations, I'd have to say the best 3 point shooter is Steve Kerr. I think he shoots better from the 3 point line compared to the Free Throw line. He won some 3 point shootouts at All Star Weekends too.

For pressure situations, I'd pick Reggie Miller anytime. Remember "Choke City" in New York where he hits a 3 with little time left in regulation and goes to steal the ball and knocks down another 3? Now, that's clutch 3 point shooting.

The best 3 point shooter now in the NBA percentage wise is Jason Kapono. However, if we are going to base it on the all-time best 3 point shooter in the NBA, it's got to be Steve Kerr.

Personally, my favourite is Reggie Miller. He was such a great clutch shooter that is why everybody would hate him see take the last shot when the game is on the line and the opposing team leads by at most three points.

ok, Im gonna answer this question because of the fact in user-friendly terms a million individual genuinely named somebody WHO CAN SHOOT 3's. Karl Malone under no circumstances made a three in his existence, Dwayne wade isn't a competent shooter, he dunks. And Kobe's Precentage is terrible! and Rip Hamilton doesnt shoot lots so his stats arent too severe. oh, and its Jason Terry, no longer Perry. and Its Josh Howard, and he SUCKS at threes. the superb Shooter available is Ray Allen on the Seatlle Supersonics or you are able to elect Dirk Nowitzki on the Dallas Mavericks in case you want somebody low-fee attempt Peja Stojakovic on the Indiana Pacers, hes on the hot Orleans Hornets now, yet he grew to become into in Indiana till some weeks in the past. additionally, in the experience that your enjoying an older version, examine to verify if Reggie Miller continues to be around, Hes the superb ever, yet retired final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. yet he grew to become into on my NBA stay 06 below unfastened brokers.

with the game (and often with a playoff series, without his threes the lakers would never have beaten the Kings) on the line and time running down, no one hit more big threes than Robert Horry...J Kapono has a good quick release and is currently the best in the league at shooting the three...

At the moment, Manu got my vote. Coming off the bench and shoot like crazy. But overall in this season, Mike Miller will be my choice as he got higher percentage in 3 pt shooting and got more 3s.
