The only way really to do it would be to overclock it. When you say you just bought it... how recently? if it was very recent why not just return it and upgrade to the 2 ghz model. It would be the cheapest and safest method as overlocking has risks and will void your warranty.

It is possible to replace your CPU, but it is a expensive process.
