I have a free email account with yahoo that I don't want anymore. How do I close it down?

Go to https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
Enter your password.
Click on the button ( YES "Terminate This Account" )
That's all.
Account will be deactivated. After 90 days, account will be deleted.

Just don't use it. After a certain period of time they will cancel it.
